1. About Painting Hub
Painting Hub is a Mumbai-based art community and retail service that sells original, handcrafted paintings and delivers them across Mumbai. We operate from Shop No. 4, Pali Naka, Bandra West, Mumbai – 400050, and can be reached at hello@paintinghub.in or +91 98765 43210.
We are not a registered corporation at this time; we operate as a community-driven small business. These terms govern your use of our website and your purchase interactions with us.
2. Products & Originality
All paintings sold by Painting Hub are:
- Original, handcrafted works created by verified Mumbai-based artists.
- Not mass-produced prints or digital reproductions (unless explicitly stated).
- Described to the best of our ability regarding size, medium, and style. Please note that colours may appear slightly different on-screen compared to the physical painting due to monitor calibration.
We reserve the right to withdraw any product from sale without notice and to decline orders at our discretion.
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices displayed are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges (if any) will be communicated to you before you confirm your order.
We accept payment via UPI, bank transfer, and cash on delivery (COD) within Mumbai. Payment must be completed before dispatch, except for COD orders where payment is made at the time of delivery.
Prices are subject to change without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price confirmed to you at the time of placing your order.
4. Ordering Process
Orders are placed informally via WhatsApp or in person. An order is confirmed only when we send you a written confirmation (via WhatsApp message or email) with the order details and total amount payable. Verbal discussions or enquiries do not constitute a confirmed order.
For custom or commissioned paintings, a non-refundable deposit of 30–50% may be required before work begins. This will be communicated clearly at the time of commission.
5. Delivery
We deliver across all of Mumbai and its suburbs, including Thane and Navi Mumbai. Deliveries are typically made within 2–4 working days of order confirmation and payment. Timelines may vary for custom commissions.
- We will notify you via WhatsApp when your painting is dispatched.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by factors outside our control (e.g., traffic, weather, address errors provided by the customer).
- Someone must be available to receive the delivery at the provided address. If delivery fails due to no recipient, a re-delivery fee may apply.
6. Intellectual Property
When you purchase a painting from Painting Hub, you are purchasing the physical artwork only. The intellectual property rights (copyright) in the artwork remain with the original artist unless explicitly transferred in a separate written agreement.
You may not reproduce, photograph for commercial purposes, or create derivative works from any painting purchased from us without the written consent of the artist.
All content on this website — including photographs, text, logos, and design — is the property of Painting Hub and may not be used without our written permission.
7. WhatsApp Community
Our WhatsApp community is a space for art lovers, customers, and enthusiasts. By joining, you agree to:
- Be respectful and kind to all community members.
- Not share spam, promotional content, or unrelated material.
- Not use the group for any illegal or harmful activity.
We reserve the right to remove any member from the community for violating these guidelines without prior notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
Painting Hub's liability to you in connection with any order or service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that specific order. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from your use of our services or products.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
